Irish Blessings

May you live as long as you want,

and never want as long as you live.

I’m sure back in my stray-dog lineage there must be some Irish wedged in.  The ruddy cheeks, thickly woven curled locks of Guinness, and a tendency to weep during the Celtic Women’s annual PBS Christmas special.

My blessing for you is this – May you prepare a nice corned beef and cabbage for dinner, and write about it here, for i have decided to forgo cooking, and enjoy the craic at a restaurant near.  I shall have a pint of Guinness in your honor – prepared in the 6 step process documented by the Wall Street Journal, and disappointingly measured with the metric system, which we all know as a tool of the devil.
