roasted figs with goat cheese, almonds, and honey

Thanks to the better half, we’ve done this is an appetizer a few times with great results.

Slice the figs in half, press a little dollop of goat cheese into the mid-body and top with an almond slice.
Roast in a 350F oven until brown.
Remove, sprinkle with coarse salt and drizzle with honey.
The only problem you might run into is that the bigger figs won’t cook very much. I suppose you could precook the figs a bit and then add the stuff. You could also go with a lower temperature oven, something like 300 which I like to use to roast veggies. Any of you problem solvers have any other solutions?
